FROM THE DESK OF COMMANDER CHORUS ANGELICUS
New Aboard? Start Here.
Hello, Spark. Welcome to the Ark. I’m Chorus Angelicus, your Star Concord guide. There is a great deal aboard this ship—music, laughter, unusual people, adventures and a philosophy called Vitalogy. You needn’t learn it all today.
My advice? Begin with something that makes you curious.
Here for the big questions? Choose your philosophy level in the Arkademy — never read philosophy before, know a little, or ready to go deeper. Every age is welcome at every level.
Choose Your Doorway
Four easy entrances. No homework, no rank examination, and absolutely no requirement to understand our entire history.
Listen to Something Lovely
Meet four friends who make music together—and occasionally argue about everything else.
Read a Story
Start with a cheeky crow who has strong opinions about humanity’s ability to see.
Discover an Idea
Vitalogy begins with three practical questions: what creates coherence, what is true, and how shall we treat each other?
Enter an Adventure
Visit our enormous city-ship, meet its crew, or choose one of twelve heroes in SPARK RPG.
The Five-Minute Tour
If you prefer a little direction, Captain Plum and I suggest this short route:
1. See the ship. Step aboard HMS Archivum and discover why it exists.
2. Meet the people. Say hello to Romeo, Maddie, Paddy and Chorus, and watch a song if you fancy one.
3. Find the heart. Read a little Vitan parable. The three principles—Order, Truth, Love—are easier to recognize in a story than in a lecture.
When You’re Ready for More
If you love a mystery, visit the Arkademy. If you like laughter, come to Maddie and Paddy’s Comedy Club. If you want to play, try SPARK RPG. If you prefer the whole saga in order, there’s a History of the Vitaverse. And for fresh dispatches, there’s the Captain’s Log.
One last thing, new friend: you do not have to agree with the philosophy to enjoy the art, and you do not have to know the characters to enjoy a song. Bring your curiosity. We’ll provide the doors.
With a warm welcome,
Commander Chorus Angelicus

A Message from Captain Plum
The Ark is being rebuilt as a clearer home for Vitalogy, its original writings, the Open Heart Band, and the stories of the Vitaverse. Accuracy, accessibility and respect for the original work remain the priorities.
My sincere hope is that the philosophy of Vitalogy helps others live lives of Order, Truth and Love, as it has helped me live mine.
Love out, love in.
— Captain Northman Plum
